Cape Zanpa, Zakimi Castle and American Village
The cliffs of Cape Zanpa rival the beauty of any scenic spot and are one of the most impressive natural features of Okinawa. On a clear day, the lighthouse offers an excellent panoramic view. Zakimi Castle is a world heritage site with a spectacular view down the west coast of the island and the museum attached offers a rich mosaic of Okinawan history and culture. Time permitting, we can visit a museum dedicated to Okinawa’s prehistoric settlements, then walk the vibrant alleys of American Village.
