You’re in Okinawa and you want awesome, studio-quality photos taken at some of the island’s most picturesque locations? Allow me to capture you or your family in some of Okinawa’s most scenic spots.
When I shoot, I almost always use off-camera flash, day or night, for the best results. My images are framed carefully, artfully lit, and the images I deliver are meticulously culled and retouched with care.

Flash Photography
Most photographers in Okinawa are ‘natural light only’ photographers. They shoot using ambient light, unassisted by flash. It is possible to get amazing results this way. I often do. However, with off-camera flash, whole new worlds of possibility open up. All of the images in the gallery below were shot with off-camera flash.
Photography Rates
I have two basic photography offerings: ¥20,000 for 6 finished images (and ¥2,000 per additional processed image), or… my ‘cat lovers special.’

Why Offer the Cat Lover's Special?
Since I invest so much time and energy feeding and looking after Okinawa’s cats (and helping others do so), I’m willing to take payment in the form of cat supplies. Bring me ¥15,000 or more in cat supplies from the list of approved products below, and I’ll give you the same service I would for cash.
This is a way for people who love cats to participate meaningfully in cat rescue and TNR while also receiving something of value in exchange. A lot of people prefer to simply pay the ¥20,000 price in cash (much of it will be spent on cat food and litter anyway).
Please remember that only the specific products listed below can be counted toward the ¥15,000 contribution.
Approved Cat Products
If you want to participate in the Cat Lover’s Special photography package, you can purchase ¥15,000 or more of the cat products listed here. Any combination is acceptable, but variety is preferred. Items or brands not on this list will not be accepted. If you have any questions, please ask before you purchase.
Please purchase only cat food brands and flavors specifically listed and pictured. Flavors and textures are not interchangeable from cats’ perspectives. Even very hungry outdoor cats often refuse unfamiliar brands or flavors, and this is a big problem because the food goes uneaten and starts to rot and smell. If you purchase cat litter, please only purchase the exact product pictured. Cats sometimes react to changes in their litter by going outside the litter box.

You can purchase these cat supplies at pet stores around Okinawa. We particularly recommend Big #1 and Makeman for their prices. You can also shop at Coo&Riku in Aeon American Village or Pet Box Chatan, right across from the big Aeon parking lot. You can find all of these stores via Google Maps.
